Beaches in Zelenika

—By O.N.—

Lalovina Beach

Lalovina Beach is the first beach next to Meljine. It got its name from the hill located between Zelenika and Meljine. It is characterized by its wild beauty, which perhaps makes it the most beautiful beach in Zelenika. It is isolated from the noise of city traffic and its water cleanliness can be compared to any beach in the bay. The beach is exposed to the sun’s rays during most of the day. It is covered with fine pebbles and ideal for families with children.

It is possible to rent sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach, and there is also a beach bar.

Plava Tisina and Marino Beaches

Located next to the old Plaža Hotel, the first hotel in the Bay of Kotor, there are a couple of beaches that, despite their duality, somehow make up a unique whole. The part in front of the hotel used to be the hotel’s beach and later became the beach of the Sarajevo Children’s Resort, which used hotel facilities after the hotel’s closure. Plava Tisina Beach is located next to the eponymous pizza place and a beach bar. The beach is partly sandy and partly concrete. There is a pier on the beach where boats dock for excursions in summer. The Marinero Cafe with its own concrete beach is located next to Plava Tisina. There is also a water polo pool in this area. It is possible to rent sun loungers and umbrellas.

Beach 357

Beach 357, named after a nearby cafe, is exceptionally suitable for children due to its shallow waters and playground. Many palm trees provide plenty of natural shade.

Sun loungers and umbrellas are available for rent.

Zmijice Beach

Zmijice Beach, named after a nearby beach bar, is the last beach towards Kumbor. It is extremely popular among young people, especially for its live music performances. The singer of the band Galija, Nenad Milosavljevic, often performs at the beach bar. In addition to music, the beach is also visited by fans of popular card games such as “briscola” and “tresette”. The beach is fully equipped.
